Stumped

I don't know what I want for Christmas.

I never know what I want for Christmas or any gift-giving occasion, really. I have a hard time coming up with ideas for things I want. Sometimes I can come up with ideas for things I need, but those things aren't as fun. This year, I have no idea. I bought myself a giftmas present yesterday, a pair of snowboots I've needed/wanted for a couple of years and they were on sale plus I had a $15 off coupon, so I got them for pretty cheap.

I'll tell you what I really want: I want Wombat to arrive, safe and healthy. I want the economy to get better. I want a trip to somewhere exotic. I want my ipod back. I want everyone I know to have a good holiday season, however that is defined for them.

Tell me, internets. What do I want for Christmas?

I am investigating Vietnam as our next trip. It's unbelievably cheap once you get there (way cheaper than China, even). Of course, it's the getting there that's expensive.

Belize was expensive. I was surprised by how the costs added up. They charge an arm and a leg for most of the adventure excursions and Gopal's "limitations" on where he's willing to stay didn't make it cheaper. In the end he gave it to me as a gigantic gift for the August debacle, and also because we recently had a large argument where it turns out that sometimes he likes doing stuff for me but I don't let him and then he feels useles and irrelevant. And I complain about the lack of romantic gestures but he picks such extravagant ones I then complain about not being able to contribute. Okay, whatever, I am learning to let go myself and be taken care of for the first time ever...

And yes, that was our latest fight! I had to take my facebook down, though, because my dad called me this morning in a tizzy because my cousins are on it. Also, I think until I learn not to de-link our relationship status everytime we have a blowup I'm probably better off not being on facebook.

A new Ipod?
Um, I don't know. I asked for a bigger crockpot and that's it. Wish I could help you.
And anu, glad things are ok. Don't ever do that again!

Man I would love to have an Ipod, so yeah, IMHO a new one would be good.
And I played with someone's I-phone a couple weeks ago, and have to admit, it was pretty cool.
LOL Anu--yeah, what Cari said.
